Pros:
- ok, I guess they put in disc golf
- baskets are high quality and in good repair
- park is nicely maintained
- potential for expansion
- informational sign at beginning of course
Cons:
- no tees
- hole 1 has no real tee sign and was slightly confusing
- plays around sporting fields which could cause interference
- only 3 holes
Other Thoughts:
I don't think this really qualifies as a course, personally. It's a place I would throw discs if I was trapped there for my sister's soccer game or something. Otherwise, there are tons of other full courses around.
This course only has 3 holes, which play around the sports fields and at times are a bit close. It was deserted when I was there but I could see this posing an issue. It seems like this park is big enough to potentially expand this course to 3 holes which would be an improvement. Add some tees and it would start to feel like a real course. The overall length isn't too bad, and there are a few trees for obstacles, but the challenge is pretty limited here. Even beginners could do better elsewhere.
At first, I was unsure where to start. There is an information sign at the beginning of the course which I guess doubles as the start of Hole 1 - there is no tee sign for hole 1, and no tees, so it's not exactly clear. Considering there are only 3 holes, it would be nice to make it clear where they all start!
