Kidding! kinda. There's not a ton of undeveloped land on Lindenwood's campus and I wouldn't be surprised at all if this course wasn't around much longer or if it was turned into a 9 hole course in favor of development.

Just drive an extra 15 minutes and play Quail Ridge? Don't have to worry about losing discs in the water to stupid rolls either.

So I just went back to Lindenwood today and 'played' the course.

Pros: I enjoy disc golf, and that's what this is.

If you have never been here, don't even bother. You will have no idea how to navigate the course. There are no concrete tees, all the signs are missing, and only on occasion are there small swaths of dirt in the grass so you know where to throw from.

Holes 1-11: All in their usual condition, shots are only slightly varied, and are easy for the most part.
Hole 12: You throw up and to the left into the woods. This hole is playable, but is thick and there's not really any line to the basket through the trees.
Holes 13-14: These holes are supposed to be down long paths about 15ft wide. The area is so overgrown right now that you are literally pushing bushes and plants out of your face like Indiana Jones or some shit just to walk down the 'fairway'. Oh yeah, and there's no basket on either hole, so there's that.
Holes 15-18: Still not really any tees so if you don't know where you're supposed to throw from then you're going to be just making it up. But hey, at least these holes have baskets

People used to care about this course. It was remodeled in 2012 so at least one person must have cared enough about it to keep it around. Yet now, nobody cares whatsoever. If the baskets are replaced on 13 and 14, and the jungle that covers 12-15 is hacked down by a team of Spanish conquistadors then at least the course will be playable in full again.

Unlikely, but if someone at the University raised the funds for concrete tees and signs, the course would actually be respectful.

I can't imagine a scenario where I come back to Lindenwood for disc golf unless that happens.

It is a decent course close to my home. The course has some really difficult shots from the tee box, a mix of open and tight fairway shots, and a good mix of open and really tight greens.

Lindenwood closed the course to the public. I wonder if they receive any of my tax money?

Course is located on a nice track of land on Lindenwood University campus along side track and field area with some trees and rolling hills. About 1 mile from I-70 in St Charles close to food and service stations. Nice mix of short, medium and long holes. Some technical holes with trees and elevation changes. Water in play on final 2 holes. Gateway Titan baskets. 3 longer holes for the big arms to air it out.

Currently this course is in the middle of a redesign due to newly constructed tennis courts. Still lacking on tee signs and markings for tee pads. Even for those in the know, course is difficult to navigate. Always windy here as the course is situated on the highest point in St Charles. Only 2 trash cans. No benches. No bathrooms. 16 basket not in as of yet.

This course has great potential once tee signs are placed and when concrete pads are installed. Only 5 of the original holes remain from initial design of this course. Great job with the new holes installed with over half the pins remaining in place.
