Preface: The New Hope Christian College DGC is still under construction, so I will be updating this review as course improvements happen. To rate this course I used the Disc Course Rating System described here:

Beauty/Peaceful (5/6) - The New Hope Christian College campus is very calm and peaceful, and the grounds are well-maintained and landscaped. Great views across Eugene to the Coburg hills from the top of the course.
Shot Shape Variety (5/6) - Excellent mix of left, right, and straight holes, with lots of uphill, downhill, and across hill shots. Several holes even cater to overhand throwers.
Tight/Open Variety (4/6) - Although the course is more open than wooded, several holes make very effective use of wooded tunnels, gaps, and boundaries. Several holes have fairways bounded by OB, and hole 7 is an open downhill ripper hole with OB down the left side of the fairway.
Elevation (5/6) - The course is mostly linear, and plays down a significant slope. Most holes include a large elevation change, typically but not always downhill.
Water (4/6) - There is a small but deep pond at the right side of the fairway on hole 4. For left-hand backhand or right-hand forehand throwers this can be a disc eater. Wading into the pond is probably not permitted.
Risk vs Reward/Punishment (4/6) - A few bramble patches on the early holes, but after that the risk on this course is from rollaways. Nearly every basket is on or at the edge of a slope, some of them very significant.
