Fun--but needs polish. 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Mar 15, 2016 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

Actually have 24 holes to play--with 9 more on way. Open section is fun. Good mix of heights, shot shapes. 6 hole course is short, but fun. New 9 (not open) should be top-notch if they clean it out a little--nice gravel tees but need to clean out trees.

Cons:

18 holes behind Tennis Court and 6 holes behind coral do not have tee pads. Some tees are very awkward with roots and bad slopes. One tee slopes down drastically to an uphill fairway making it a contortion to throw. Woods holes near Tennis are way too tight--interesting and fun--but no clear paths.

Other Thoughts:

Close to my house, so I will be back regularly. I wouldn't drive to find it at this point, but they seem to be still working on it. It could be a real gem with a few less trees. Can't wait to see the new 9 completed. But its weird the only holes that have nice flat gravel tees are not open yet...

Time to try it again 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jan 7, 2016 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

In the last 3 years, this course has really come along. I played it when it first opened and I think I gave it a really bad review at that time. They have improved it a lot sense then and added an additional 9 hole course. The woods in the front 9 are tight but playable, the open is well maintained and challenging.

Cons:

People need to go back and play this course again, at one time there was a long list of cons now it's down to two:
No T-pads
No course maps on site.

Other Thoughts:

This course as it is now is ready to play, but I think the better combination is the short 9 hole course followed by the open half (back 9) of the 18 hole course.

Decent course, and #7 is super unique. 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Apr 5, 2014 Played the course:once

Pros:

Baskets are in good shape. The wooded front 9/open back 9 design is nice. Decent mix of shots. Beautiful in the spring.

Cons:

No tee pads, semi-confusing layout (especially in the woods) and little signage to help you. A few holes have borderline-unfair denseness and therefore not much of a fairway (#9 for instance).

Other Thoughts:

Not bad overall. While #7 is a bit weird, it is up there with my favorite/most unique holes I've ever played. 111 feet and about as far downhill--fun!
