8 baskets scattered all over 2+ years

Pros:

Northland College disc golf course is, as far as I could tell, 8 holes. It's possible there's a ninth somewhere but the hell if I could find it. The first 3 play counter clockwise around the baseball diamonds on the east side of Hwy 13. Hole 4 is along the road north of 16th St. on the East side of Hwy 13. Holes 5 through 8 are on the campus lawn on the West side of Hwy 13. You cross the street after hole 4 and you'll see hole 5's basket. Play to that then head Southwest and you'll see 6's basket 700 feet or so away. Look west after holing out on 6 to see 7 and 8's baskets. Sound confusing? It is. This is about as good as I can describe the wonky setup.

The baskets are DGA Mach II's. They seem like a newerish version of them though. At least I don't recall seeing this style before, but I probably have. Anyway they catch pretty well, not the greatest, but plenty good enough for this style of course.

The grounds on campus were all well maintained. The course is free and permanent allegedly. Ample parking in the lot by the baseball fields, at least if the fields are not in use.

Cons:

The number one con here is the ridiculously disjointed layout. I pieced it together from the little info it had in the description on here. Then found 2 additional baskets! Yay.

No tee pads or signs so I have no idea whether I played it exactly as was designed. I did follow the flow correctly up until mixing up the 7 and 8 baskets, playing them in reverse. Not too different from most elementary/middle/high school courses around WI.

Other Thoughts:

This course is worth one stop if you're a course bagger. That is it, one visit. There's not much for courses in this part of WI, so if you're reading this you're probably up here for Highbridge. Stick with Highbridge and skip this. If you wanted a warm up 9 you'd be better off with the Ashland school playground course which isn't too far away. I gave it a 1.5, passable. I feel like that's a bit generous but I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt...for some reason. It's more practice area than course but there are 8 baskets so a course it is I guess.
