Small little Pitch & Putt Rec course 2+ years

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Jun 27, 2015 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

This course is a nice little 6 hole Pitch & Putt rec course in a small park in Ainsworth.
-DGA baskets.
-Tee Signs With Distance info.
-Rolling Terrain
-Shelter House
-Great for beginners and non-players.

FWIW: There is a shelter house and a sand volleyball court in the park.

Cons:

This course is too small to really have any major cons worth mentioning. I'll summarize in the "Other thoughts"

However...
-No Teepads, you tee off near the Tee sign.
(However, on a course like this, I'm not holding it against it)

Other Thoughts:

This is an "It is what it is" course. It's a really small course in a really small park. It's a nice little park and I had fun throwing here, but this course is really for the people of Ainsworth. I played the course three times in less than 20 minutes. I only took my Star Mako and that was all I needed.

If you live in or around Ainsworth, then you have a fun little course to play at. Other than that, it's not going to be worth the drive to play. However, if you happen to be traveling down 218 then this could be a nice little "Stop off" for a break. It's in a park with a shelter house, and you could be done in less than 10 minutes.

It's nice to see towns like Ainsworth installing courses into their local parks. If you do make the trek out, then leave a positive vibe here. It only helps to grow the sport!
