Pros:
+ Easy to get to, with the course being located in a small city. You can easily just drive around he city and you will happen upon the course
+ Concrete Tees
+ Older Discatchers catch well enough for being old
+ Decently easy to navigate without the use of uDisc but with uDisc its a breeze
+ Hole 2 would be the only cool/decent hole on the course with it using the only trees around.
Cons:
- Hole 1 is a weird one. The tee was a bit hard to find at first but walking around for a bit and you will find it. The basket of hole one is in-between two baseball diamond chain link fences. You kinda need a perfect shot to have a putt. I was maybe 10' away on my drive and I had to pay around the high fences to get my par.
- Hole 9, I couldnt find the teepad. I followed the uDisc GPS and there was no teepad in site. I ended up driving off of a walking path but have no real clue where the tee is.
- Some holes play very close to farm fields and unkept tall grass. If you get outside the circle on a few holes you are in real danger of losing a disc or two.
- A few holes played very close to multi use places. The course plays throughout some baseball/football/multiuse fields so if there is an event going on then I would think the course would be unusable
Other Thoughts:
My take is that you can and should skip this course unless trying to bag a course. It seems like the school put this course in to maybe use for PE and then does nothing to upkeep the course. The course is nicely mowed but the rough is not.
