Pros:
> Good use of property creating a variety of holes.
> Easy enough for beginners to enjoy but not too easy for intermediates.
> Beautiful mountain view walking to the #10 basket is worth the price of admission
> Located really close to Dolly Cooper which makes a perfect opportunity so set up a two course outing
> Pavilion with seating near hole 1 tee
Cons:
>Tee pads. A couple of tees are short, and not very flat. #1 thing to improve would be to provide level pads in the worst places (#14).
>Advanced players may find a couple of holes on the front 9, especially the par 4 #6 a bit too soft.
Other Thoughts:
>Really enjoy this course as a low level player despite a few of the par 3's being outside my birdie range. It's significantly easier and open than the heavily wooded Hampton Park and nearby Dolly Cooper.
>Not a huge amount of shade, so bring some water for mid-summer play (there is a pavilion with seating and a few spots to get out of the sun).
>Kudos to Marathon Church for putting their land to use by adding to the disc golf scene in the upstate.
