The best way to find # 1 is to park at the little neighborhood park at the end of the cul-du-sac. # 1 will be the first tee pad as you enter the course from this small park.

For advanced right hand backhand throwers I would recommend a putter straight at. Don't fade to the left of the basket if you can.
