Pros:
1) Nice beginner friendly course because it is very short.
2) Nice variety . . . probably some of the best variety for a course on like 4 acres. Tight woods, an uphill hole, a couple longer open holes, and then a few more tight wooded holes.
3) Nice signs showing the distance of the hole.
4) Nice looking baskets . . . I think Disc King but I wasn't sure. I would guess those were school colors.
5) Elevation is used well on a couple of the holes.
Cons:
1) Very short . . . three holes are awkward distances because they are under 100'.
2) One hole is a completely blind 90 degree turn into the woods. it is an awkward throw.
3) No tees at this point just grass in the open and wood chips/dirt in the woods.
4) Tall grass and prairie will snag your disc on #4 the uphill hole. There is also a lot of tall stuff on the blind shot into the woods. You have to pay attention to where you threw or risk searching for a little while.
Other Thoughts:
Take this course for what it is . . . a short children friendly course. You can make a lot of birdies or take some ace runs if you prefer the action! It is pretty well designed for such a small property and it has a lot of variety and diversity . . . so it gets a (C) from me. However as it is designed and considering it is school property it would get a higher grade (B). There just isn't enough to keep me interested and coming back over and over . . . I am getting more and more picky as I passed 600 courses played, but I will gladly play any course ONCE.
