Pros:

Randolph park's disc golf course plays around the many other activities onsite. But does a pretty good job of staying away from those places.

The baskets are DGA's. Mach III's I think. These are all mounted nicely and catch great. They're really holding up nicely from the elements. They look brand new practically. One pin position per hole.

Tee pads are natural and work just fine for the distances here. Plays from basket to basket for the first 4 holes and a couple on the last 5 holes.

There were tee signs on holes 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9. Just the distance, hole # and pars for Ams and pros.

The course was clean and in good shape. Free to play and permanent. Probably not too busy as far as other disc golfers.

Cons:

The flow is kind of wonky. I'd advise having a map so you're not wondering around trying to figure things out.

Hole 8 plays over the volleyball courts. Holes 3 and 6 play right along the outfield fences of 2 different baseball diamonds. Just kind of a crammed in kind of feel to the place.

The tee sign for hole 3 was mounted on the cage of 2's basket. That's a first for me.

Hole 9 appears to play over a property next to the park. Questionable design elements here to say the least.

Other Thoughts:

This is a quick round if you happen to be in the area. Other than being nearby there's not much for redeeming qualities for this place. Definitely not worth going out of your way to play unless you're a course bagger. It's a typical city park 9, but the few weird or dangerous design issues knock it down a bit. Passable.
