Wonderful Flow through the New Hampshire Countryside

Reviewed: Played on:Sep 13, 2023 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Terrific run of 18 holes on a private horse farm. Not too long, not too short, challenging par 57 course with elevation, open fields, tight woods and all sorts of shots.

This Tim's backyard course hewn by hardwork and ingenuity through some beautiful woods and farmland. It's absolutely the dream course you could have just out your back door!

Begin with a couple tricky wooded putter shots before two challenging open holes with a bit of elevation. Then a mix of long alleys and open gap hitting (and one water-carry) before heading back into the woods for some long par 4s and a couple of ace-runs if you're feeling lucky.

I love the flow of this course. You really feel like you're taking a walk through the countryside experiencing the natural change in scenery and topography as you move through the property.

Two sets of tee pads for the 5300' longs and 3200' shorts.

Favorite shots:
Hole 9 is a 385 par 3 with an open long uphill shot to get yourself into the mouth of the gap and run the birdie into the woods from C2.
Hole 13 is a par 4 with a narrow but fair wooded fairway always turning to the right. Throw up hill and try to finish on the left side of the fairway so you have plenty of room to work something over to the basket, but be sure not to leave your approach early right or you'll be in jail.
Hole 15, 388' par 4, throw straight and far that gets through the alley of trees without much fade and then try to pitch yourself down hill to the left to nestle into a beautiful green on a tricky slope. If you finish off the fairway on your drive you'll be scrambling but there's luck to be had!
Hole 16, 242' par 3, downhill left to right hyper with a basket obscured by plenty of guardian trees. Rip it and listen for the chains!

Cons:

It's great fun and and I have no complaints about the design other than that I really struggle to know what shot to throw on 18! Is it a flex RHBH that fades into edge of circle? I think it's mostly a skill issue on my end!

No amenities here as it's a private course. No trash cans, water, bathrooms, etc.

Not all the tee pads are quit finished yet.

Other Thoughts:

The course is always improving in small ways but the design is an absolute blast to play. If you're not a club member be sure to text 603-359-4004 to check in before heading over to play.

It's a farm so leave your dog at home.
