Pros:
Decent variety in hole type for a small course.
Hole 3 features a nice shot from hilltop to hilltop.
Summer breezes and wildflower swamps make for a beautiful setting.
Right next to Cornell campus.
Constant threat of losing your disc leads to rapid improvements in accuracy.
Cons:
Large tangles of plants along edges of fairways make retrieving discs a test of physical and mental fortitude.
Last 3 holes heavily feature swamps as OB and are full of head-high plants and shin-deep muck. Make sure your throws are air tight.
High grass is mowed infrequently, making it possible to lose your disc on the fairway.
Other Thoughts:
Course gets the job done if you're looking to sneak in a quick hour of disc. The hole layout does not lend itself to beginners, as one errant throw can end up with a 15 minute tromp in the woods or swamp hunting for the disc. The woods are also full of poison ivy, thorny bushes, and vines, so bring a machete and some calamine lotion if you can't throw straight. (I say this having learned the hard way).
