Partly wooded, beginner friendly 12-hole course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Oct 12, 2011 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Beginner friendly, yet at least half of the holes require really good accuracy off the tee to get an easy deuce. Not overcrowded, and also has one longer hole where us noodle-arms can try and shoot for own personal bests :).

For pros I'd imagine this course being a breeze, but for amateurs like me it has enough challenge and requires a multitude of different shots, yet some of the holes having real alternate paths to the pins.

Cons:

Some of the holes have such terrain that footing is sometimes a bit tricky, so no real run-ups after tee unless you're lucky, fortunately the holes (except for one) don't usually require run-ups after the initial drive.

Two holes on the course could've been designed better, the other one just feels pretty much impossible to ace though it's something like 160ft, but the basket is hidden behind a huge boulder. The other unfair one (last) just doesn't have a real repeatable route to try for deuce, unless you try and extreme forehand spike hyzer, or backhand extreme anhyzer. Both (at least for an amateur) feel quite unrepeatable albeit definately possible.

No real possibility of throwing rollers on this course.

Other Thoughts:

Definately worth checking out, be sure to take the course map with you, some of the holes might be confusing to find at first without a map.
