Pros:
What a wonderful piece of land for a disc golf course. Featuring middle-Florida hills on a lovely college campus with historic buildings and mature trees and featuring a beautiful scenic lake. A fun round can be had here, provided that you can figure out where to tee from and which basket to throw at and how the navigation works. Or you don't mind playing Safari style.
Cons:
No tees, no tee signs, no basket numbers, and no markings of any kind at all. You must use the map or make up your own course. If you take the time to figure it out it can be a fun course to play. People that don't have access to the map will be lost here.
Some of the course plays close to buildings and popular walking paths. The course may be difficult to play during busy campus hours. We played on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't an issue. We just had to wait a couple of times to let some co-eds pass by.
Other Thoughts:
There could be a real special course here. Any kind of tee signage or definition would help out a lot. We had an enjoyable round here. Reminded me of an old school object course round.
We stopped in at the security office when we got there and were told on a Sunday afternoon where the course was located and that no parking pass was required on that day for visitors. Security seemed pretty chill as they had bigger things to worry about than a couple of traveling disc golf course baggers rolling through (there was a football game or something going on).
