Pros:
Good variety of shots, especially with the addition of 2-8 up on the hillside. Great use of asphalt as OB. Makes some gimme type holes a bit more challenging. Makes you think before just trying to rip one up to 18's green.
Hole 16 may be one of the best holes in Boise. Long, uphill, and low-ish ceiling. It plays like a ball golf hole, you really need to pick a landing spot that gives you a good upshot to the pin. If you get greedy it is real easy to bogey or worse.

Cons:
Hole 2 is one of the worst holes in Boise, along with 9 on lydle blue. The super blind drive through a small gap up to an area covered in brush. . . . Last time I played I saw what looked like stakes for an alternate pin up the hill a bit. This makes the hole so much better and probably only reduces the average score of the hole a couple 10's of a stroke.
Other Thoughts:
So glad that this course is available while the swim area is closed. One of my faves, try to play every chance I get.
