It's the first DiscGolfPark in a US National Forest, the 5th DiscGolfPark in California and the 20th DiscGolfPark installed in the United States
This course meanders through the forest adjacent to Shady Rest Park. A pro level course throughout the heavily wooded Inyo National Forest with both long and short basket locations. A very challenging course including four par 4s and one par 5 for an overall par 60 in the long to long layout measuring 7,315 ft (2,230 meters).
Mostly flat terrain with a beautiful landscape throughout the vibrant pine forest with few holes that provide spectacular mountain views. The highly visible baskets can be seen from a majority of the teepads, even on some of the longer holes. Inside the bottom tray of each basket is an arrow that points to the tee pad for the next hole.

I-395 to exit 263. Head west towards Mammoth on CA-203 for 2.8 miles and then make a right onto 3508 / Sawmill Cutoff. Drive for .6 miles and turn right onto Sawmill Rd. Look for practice basket across from basketball court. Hole 1 is uphill and to the right of the practice basket.
Please park across the street from the beach volleyball and basketball courts, and walk towards the practice putting basket located a short walk from the parking lot.
