Pros:
-Discatcher baskets are prime and in great shape
-Great learning course for children
-Good lines to practice specific throws
-Can play while kids are at the playground and never be too far from them
Cons:
-In a very tight amount of space
-Natural tees and the signs are not oriented in the correct direction for most of the holes, but even with this, it's pretty easy to navigate
-Only intended for campers at the KOA
Other Thoughts:
***Course intended for campers ONLY as stated several other places***
I had no idea this course was here. Was just camping here and to my surprise there were baskets. I always travel with a small bag of discs and honestly, it was great to just wake up and throw some putter shots and stretch. Short technical little course. If I could rate it for it's intended purpose of a beginner/introductory course, I would rate it higher.
Certainly I wouldn't go out of the way to play here, but if you are looking for a place to set up camp while you are visiting Shenandoah National Park, this is an easy bag and a nice start to the day. Great little campground not too far from I-81, but far enough that it's peaceful. Of course, I was camping in January, so I pretty much had the place to myself, so take that with a grain of salt I guess.
