Why you have Trusted Reviewers

Reviewed: Played on:Oct 12, 2023 Played the course:once

Pros:

Nice Course sign
Nice Tee signs
nice Mach V Baskets
Reasonable and nice RV park in the middle of the course

Cons:

Very open course
Grass tee pads, although the grass was well kempt.

Other Thoughts:

And this is why you have trusted reviewers. While this is actually a pretty nice set up with good baskets and signage, the course is not very good.

And why even bring up the railroad track? it's not in the park. Personally, I didn't even notice it till I got to hole 5. It does not come into play at all. I actually would have considered it a plus if a train had gone buy, I am a train loving wanabee.

Anyways, back to the course. I really mean this is a super boring course that really did not have any "good" holes. Because it was so open, most of the holes were on the long side.

I didn't check the restroom, but the RV park did have facilities. It has cement pads and roads for the RVs and 9 spots. $15 per night or $20 for the two spots that actually have sewage. I will say that about 1/2 of the spots were taken, this actually surprised me because all the other courses I played had 1 at most.

There is a walking path though the course, actually had some walkers on it at 8 in the morning. 8 of the 9 holes actually CROSS this path.

Would I play this course again? Nope, it's a one and done course for me. It's a super nice for a small town, but it's not a 4+ star rated course. If your course collecting, stop and play a quick round. If you are looking for a good course in the area to play, move on, there are better courses just down the road. South, play Elmwood in Norton, West play Cambridge or McCook (BTW, found out Eric McCabe is designing another course for McCook)
East you can play Oxford, another 9 hole course that is simple, but much better.
