Pros:
- Cool park complete with an orange ferry, yes a ferry like one you would take to an island
- Dynamic baskets looking good in rural AR
- Course plays around the edge of the park and in the trees, a good job using the best disc golf portions of the park
- Natural obstacles like benches, mounds, and trees used well
- While short the tunnel shot and the wooded section are some of those holes where you just have to throw more than one drive
- Very ace able course, good for introducing newer players to the sport.
- Lots of options for safari layouts and not much competition for the course at least in the winter
Cons:
- Short holes aren't challenging for those who want to throw drivers
- In the middle of nowhere, not much reason to visit the area
- Gets wet in the winter time, puddles and standing water
- During the summer months there could be other park users perhaps using disc golf fairways
Other Thoughts:
I played this in the pouring rain with a severe back ache and still managed to have a good time, that's how fun this little courses is. If you want to challenge the putters or midrange or just want a relaxing round this is a good course for that and the only disc golf within a 30 minute drive at least. It looks like in the summer time they have a hot dog cart or grill or food truck type of food out here, ice cream, who knows what else.
