Pros:
This is the course you play when you need a quick nine holes. It's typically not very busy, and you've got just (and I mean just) enough trees to make things interesting. If you like a short course and only mildly technical - than this is your place.
I have been out of the DG scene for a while, but this is the course I'm using to dip my toes back in the water - so in that regard - it's great. There is no water, and it's the perfect pitch and putt to wipe off the cobwebs.
I love the little stretch in the trees with holes #5-#8. You feel like #5 should be an ace off the tee every time, and #7 and #8 make you shape the shot just enough that a poor throw off the tee could mean a bogey.
BEST HOLE/S: #7
Other Thoughts:
This is the type of course you are looking for if you are:
1. A Beginner
2. Getting back into the sport
3. Have smaller kids & family DG
4. Teaching someone new the game
It's not revolutionary by any means, and you literally have Texas Army trail two minutes down the road if you are looking to hone your skills or are an intermediate to advanced player. Again, this is the course you squeeze in 30 minutes before the sun sets right after a long day of work. Enough to satisfy the itch, but don't expect much more than that.
With #4 out of the ground 1.5 discs. However, I will give it 2.0 discs with the assumption that #4 will go back in the ground after construction is over. So, 2.0 discs - but barely.
