Distance Isn't Everything 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Feb 14, 2019 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Viewing the hole distances I thought this would be a beginner to intermediate course but I was pleasantly surprised. There is a great use of terrain and space though some may feel a few baskets are close to the next tees. Plenty of trees, rock formations, and elevation change to keep everyone honest. Tee pads are now covered with artificial turf.

Cons:

A walking path not far off the 5 & 6 fairways.

Other Thoughts:

Main objective was to add that the tee pads are updated, although to be honest I only saw a portion of each one that I kicked the snow off of. Played 5 times in less than two weeks, even a couple double rounds. A really fun course with great local players. Hope to play it again without the snow.

Great 9 Hole Course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 25, 2018 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

- The course had lots of elevation change, and technical shots.
- Well marked, and easy to navigate between holes.
- Not too far out of Stockholm, or Täby.
- Unique terrain, that isn't really found in the U.S., including lots of rocks and boulders.
- Fun for beginners or experienced players, due to varying shot shapes, and challenging greens.
- Good course to beat discs in, due to lots of rocks. (Could also be viewed as a con)
- Discatcher baskets, in good condition.
- Free, and well maintained.
- only 9 holes
- good parking

Cons:

- Tee pads were not very good, as the gravel was not even, and led to me losing my balance on several drives.
- Not necessarily a recreational course, although it is short and only 9 holes
- Not many long holes

Other Thoughts:

This course is definitely worth visiting if you're in the area, especially if you're traveling from the states, as it is unique to Sweden's topography, and really fun. To reach it from the parking lot, it is a short walk on the path to the right, and is across the road from the soccer fields, about a 2 minute walk. There is food nearby as well. This course could easily get a 3.5 or 4, due to how good shape it is in, how pretty it is, and how fun it is, but I didn't feel like I could give it any more than 3, since there were some cons, and it was only a 9 hole course. It is however, definitely the best 9 hole course I have played.
