Pros:

Tenkiller area has more courses than I thought!
We drove south on the east side of the lake, we saw one disc golf course in another park (Cherokee hills park) Near Park Hill, Oklahoma. It was on a Peninsula, so I want to come back one day and try that one...however this review is on: Tenkiller State Park.

Nice little course in the middle of Tenkiller state park.
Would be a great course for families camping there or renting a cab44in.
Some elevaction change with trees, woods and a water Hazzard.
Nice tee signs.
Quiet, beautiful surroundings everywhere.

Cons:

Natural tee pads (they are not bad)
Re-tire baskets were in decent shape, but some need re-leveled.
Not a course for experienced players. Newbies and/or families would benefit from this course.
Could get busy in summer.
Tee pads could use new landscaping.

Other Thoughts:

Not a bad course.
We try to stop and play any course we see...good or bad...despite the "reviews".

Moderately challenging with some short, some medium holes. No long holes.
Not a course for big arm drivers.
Re-tire baskets are a great idea, but they are quiet...you can't "bang the chains". But I do think it is a good way to use old tires.
Good course for beginners and/or families.
Big arm drivers should choose another course.
We went in the off season, had the whole park to ourselves.
Not a bad one-hour course if you wanted to get out of town for a nice drive and spend a weekend in a cabin or tent.

We went in dead of winter with 20+mph wind. We still had a great time.
Whole place to ourselves, nice park ranger met us and told us where to start.

I would go back if in the area, just becouse it's something different and beautiful surroundings.

Family course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 27, 2015 Played the course:once

Pros:

This course is great for what it is, a family course to play while at the lake.

Mostly well groomed, AWESOME TEE SIGNS, great reTire baskets.

Mix of short and a few long holes, a water shot, low ceiling shots.

Fun course for beginners and kids.

Cons:

Natural tees
Campers and other people can be a bit to close for comfort on some holes.
Not enough long holes for competitive players.
Long walk from 18 basket to parking by hole 1.

Other Thoughts:

Think of this as a family course, not a tournament course. I believe that shouldn't cause it to have a bad rating. Don't make this course the destination, just play it while your at the lake.

Pros:

1.right off the highway, don't have to pay for the park fees, easy access
2. good signage.

Cons:

tee 6 is just dumb, the tee pad has you driving into a thick row of trees and vines only 5 foot in front of tee box, 7,8,9 are in a overgrown area of the park. lots of poison ivy and high weeds. the rest of the course plays near the entrance road and camp sites. This is a pitch and putt course thatt doesn't see a lot of play.. if your camping here, great, get drunk and play it, but definitely not worth driving to.

New course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:May 31, 2014 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

Just added back 9. Lots of potential for entire course.

Cons:

New course. Some tee box locations don't make a lot of sense. Needs more people playing on course to "groom" it.

Other Thoughts:

Could be a great course. Exposes part of the park that I remember as a kid. Great addition to TSP.
