Pros:
Technical with a very rugged upper/front 9. Lower 9 is flat along the flood plain of the Salmon river.
No crowds, i played it 3 times on weekends and only saw 1 other group on my first visit.
Top 9 is decently marked and has regulation baskets, solid tone placement on the lower 9...the homemade baskets do the job.
Has something for everyone, although can be pretty challenging for a beginner, esp the top 9...the rugged terrain really adds to the difficulty factor here.
Hole 17 provides a really tough alt tee pad, not for the faint of heart. Hole 2 is blind, would recommend a spotter.
Benches on some holes throughout the course.
Beautiful views of the river and surrounding area, plus the river is right there for a mid-round cool off.
Great place for a non-disc golfer to tag along on a hike.

The lower 9 can be difficult to navigate as the tee pads are not marked, tho most of them are pretty well beat in.
No trash cans anywhere (did i mention it's rugged?), so pack in, pack out.
There doesn't appear to be any course maintenence, tho i wouldn't expect it due to the rugged nature, as such the grass on the lower 9 can be long and there's stinging nettle in areas.
No maps on any holes, definitely use the ones provided on this site if you're not familiar.
Boulders along the lower 9 can make for hard to retrieve discs, not sure if rattle snakes inhabit the area but it was on my mind.
The area looks to be used for grazing, too, watch out for fresh cow pies.

Other Thoughts:
On parking/accessibility: be careful with low clearance vehicles...the drive in is manageable with a few tricky spots but park at the top of the bluffs (by hole 1 tee box) unless you have several inches of ground clearance or a lifted rig. There is parking down below by hole 18 (this is where i saw people parked on my 1st visit, cracked my oil pan getting down).
There are some areas on the upper 9 that get pretty nasty, ie marshy, boggy; combined with the overgrowth on the lower 9 and the rugged terrain, i wore boots and pants when it wasn't too hot.
Take plenty of fluids during the warm months, it can feel pretty hot and dry even with the river right there.
