There are only a few posted tee signs, and those only give hole # and distance. All tees are natural with either a blue or red board to mark. With the leaf cover, many boards were hard to find, even with UDisc. In many places, it was a challenge to traverse the extreme elevation in soggy and muddy conditions. The creek was flowing well between #12 and#13’s fairways. The course was clean and still very fun to play.

The Mountwood Monster is now a challenging 18 hole course located in Mountwood Park in Walker, WV.
