Good Course For Casual Play 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Sep 29, 2018 Played the course:once

Pros:

Nice, clean, 9-basket course great for beginners or those looking tom play a leisurely round.
The course is on the church grounds, and the course/landscape itself is well maintained.
Some holes are open, some have tree obstacles.
Tees are easy to find and course layout is easy to follow.
Signage is plain but does clearly mark the tees.
Church and its patrons are quite nice and if the buildlng is open, bathrooms are available.

Cons:

Since this is more of a causal course, a lot of the details that set great courses apart are absent here.
While the signage does note the tee number, no other info (distance to pin) is provided.
No benches.
Also, some may find the course rather plain.

Other Thoughts:

Great, clean, accessible course that casual players will love and pros may enjoy just because how lax it is.

A Beautiful Little Beginners Course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Sep 3, 2018 Played the course:once

Pros:

This is a beautiful little course. Well manicured fairways, nice baskets that are numbered, and a natural flow to the course. There is a simple elegance with natural tee areas, large trees to work around, and a few mandos to deal with. There is plenty of parking as well.

Cons:

The tee pads are natural, but level and groomed. It would be nice to have the holes length marked.

Other Thoughts:

This is the course I would take a new player to. It is a pretty little course with little to no hazards to worry about. Skill is required to be successful here, but is not required to enjoy playing. A skilled player might try to birdie each hole; a new player will enjoy a nice introduction to the game of disc golf. Play this course, and grow the game by bringing a new player with you.

Way Basic Course 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 20, 2018 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

- Clean fairways, beginner friendly, simple and forgiving
- Lots of shade on the course
- Plenty of parking
- New Mach V baskets, numbered
- Numbered tee signs
- Easy to follow course flow
- A nice variety of lengths and shot shaping throughout the course

Cons:

- Natural Tees
- No distances on the tee signs
- Some signs get in the way when sizing up mando drives
- No multiple tee, no multiple pins
- No benches
- No bathrooms when church is locked up

Other Thoughts:

This is an open, flat, beginner course that wraps around a church property. It features cleanly landscaped grass fairways with large oak trees creating a majority of the course shot shaping difficulties. Casual players will appreciate the variation of hole lengths and the forgiving fairways. The large oaks provide plenty of shade as well.

This course turned out to be better than I initially expected. Not all the holes were short and the trees did a pretty decent job shaping shots. This is an ideal beginner course. Great job course designer(s).
