Nostalgic Course drive by

Pros:
The course has a mix of shots to utilize. I needed to be able to throw a backhand, a forehand, and even had to pop out a couple of rollers to get out of some sticky situations. I really dig that this course wasn't a bunch of doglegs, only needing one disc to tee off with.
The course utilizes most of the North side of the park, giving plenty of open air shots as well as wooded shots, and some shots in between with plenty of trees guarding baskets on more open fairways. I like that it didn't feel completely crammed into one area of the park.
Navigation was a breeze. THERE'S NEXT TEE CLIPS ON EVERY BASKET! These were huge in being able to find every teepad without much of a search.
Using the pond was awesome. I think it's almost the best use it could have been. (If the basket next to the large mound we're actually on the mound it would have been perfect)
There are plenty of trash cans because of it being a multi use park.
There are restrooms easily accessible at the beginning/end of the course.

Cons:
The course starts out playing directly through where all the kids and parents park and walk to play on the soccer fields.
Holes one and two have the walking path directly in play - hole two I was able to air it out far right to avoid the path, but hole one doesn't have that option, you just have to wait for traffic to clear.
There are other holes that play near the walking path and road later in the course, but the mandos do a decent enough job at helping guide you from having a "Jesus, Richard!" moment.
One of the holes plays along the baseball field, errant shots will go into the field.
One of the holes plays along the restroom/parking area, be careful of errant shots.

I grew up in the neighborhood directly adjacent to the pond that plays through the end of the course, and even helped to install Tiger Town playground when I was in the Boy Scouts in middle school here in Howland.
This course was a giant blast of nostalgia and the round I played with a buddy was filled with stories from when I was a kid about all the stupid things me and friends did on literally every single hole.
To whoever got this course in the ground, thank you - this will always end up one of my favorite spots to visit when I'm in town.

The stray cat with no strut

Pros:
All the equipment is new. The course and park are well maintained.
Cons:
The holes have very basic lines with very little nature or other obstacles to navigate. From the cement tees, the line are easy for intermediate level players and above. However, they are to long for beginners and intermediates to be concerned with making dangerous errant throw.
8 of the first 9 holes have walking paths or park benches with heavy pedestrian traffic to navigate.
Finding hole 10 challenged me the most about the course. Once I got there, two wooded holes, one already described by Discinohio are not enticing in any way.
Holes 12 - 14 play within a triangle between baseball diamonds. There neither aesthetically pleasing, nor fun but rather basic dog right and left throws.
The swamp triangle, holes 15 -17, are the most fun part of the track. Nerveless, the need a little t.l.c and do not make up for the flaws of the rest of the course.

The point of the review was to offer a different perspective from the previous reviewer. To the crew that put in the hard work to create the course, I am sorry for the harsh review. However, unless your a local, spend the time to play a better course.

Take Me Down To Tiger Town

Pros:
"Tiger Town DGC" is set in a huge community park in Howland Township, about 10 miles northwest of Youngstown.
+ With the course just being finished up this fall, the amenities are all brand new and top tier. Each hole has concrete tees, colorful detailed tee signs, and Mach V baskets.
+ Navigation is pretty much flawless. There are bright markers on each basket cage that directs you to the next tee if you aren't using UDisc.
+ One of my favorite stretches in the entire area has to be 15, 16, and 17. Each hole has a unique way of bringing the pond into play. #17 is a "dock shot" which is really neat.
+ There's a solid variety in distance, with holes ranging from about 200 ft to over 600 ft.
+ With the course just being finished up this fall, the amenities are all brand new and top tier. Each hole has concrete tees, colorful detailed tee signs, and Mach V baskets.
+ Navigation is pretty much flawless. There are bright markers on each basket cage that directs you to the next tee if you aren't using UDisc.

- This property is as flat as can be, so there is rarely any noticeable elevation. This can make things a little bland at times.
- While holes #1 and #2 are necessary to get you to the back of the park, it's a pretty disappointing way to start the course. The quality of the holes do pick up significantly after this though.
- There are plenty of holes that play close to high traffic areas. Several holes do have mando's to direct shots away from walking paths and other hazards.
- #11 is WAY too tight. The main gap is 10-15 feet wide and pretty far from the tee pad. It's a game of "Plinko" until you get within approachable range, where it opens up a bit.

Most of the course pales in comparison to 15-17. Not any fault of the designer(s), because they did the best possible job with what was given. However, you should still find this course pretty enjoyable for a longer round.
