Pros:

1. Moderately wooded with some very technical lines
2. Beautiful property with spaced out holes and defined lines and fairways
3. Moderate to High end difficulty requiring a person to utilize multiple different shot angles to succeed.
4. Great signage and tee pads, lots of directional signs and arrows pointing you to the next tee.
5. Several scenic and picturesque holes (9 for example)

Cons:

1. Course is pretty new and the "rough" is still very thick with underbrush, thorns and poison ivy. This should minimise as the course gets more play and attention.
2. A few, in my opinion, poorly designed or maybe unfun is a better way to put it, holes. Holes over 375 ft (par 3's) that require hitting 5-10 foot wide gaps 300 plus feet down the fairway with jail on both sides is one thing, but add cliffs and water on the sides where practically any tree kick results in a lost disc isn't something that excites newer players.
3. The course dances a weird balance between, practically impossible holes, extremely challenging but fair holes, and extremely easy holes. I understand needing to get from one location to another and making a less than exciting hole to get there, but this course feels kind of all over the place at times. Not sure what identity it was trying to go for, or more specifically, what skill level was the target.
4. As stated above, the property is large, moderately to heavily wooded in most areas, and I'd say 6-8 holes are amazing. There however is 6-8 holes that are pretty standard stock righty hyzers or completely wide open that aren't anything to be super excited about. Again, not bad holes, but they could be slightly improved. Then there's the 2-4 holes that need work. (5, 8, 12, 14 come to mind) Each has the potential to be amazing and memorable holes, but need a few trees removed here or there, or would be better served to have the basket is a less punishing place, or simply open up an alternative "safer" route for those not trying to attack the pin.
5. Great score separation course for tournament play, huge score swings can happen due to all the trees kicks and elevation changes and sloped greens. As a casual play course, it can however be frustrating digging through the underbrush for your disc all day if you aren't getting the tree love.

Other Thoughts:

Course is very good right now as is, and with some clean up of the rough, and some minor tweaks to the lines in the woods this could very well be the best course in western KY pretty easily. Love the effort and hard work put in here so far and hope those involved continue to improve the course instead of just leaving it as is.
