A pretty direct woods short hole, you want control into the gap, and hit your selected line to the pin. There is OB long at the park's property line. I try to throw my Buzzz here, flat and firmly along the right middle of the fairway.

True par four hole in the long pin position, you want to get your drive to work as long as you are able and left to right out the fairway. Big arms (if they can hit the gap) can probably reach the dogleg around the guardian trees and honeysuckle that more likely lie in the line if you're short. I still try to turn my Stag out there and hyzer my upshot through the intended line. Don't leave that upshot short or weak, because you want to get well past the honeysuckle to the green for a look at a (birdie) three.

Pretty straightforward: you NEED to get into the mouth of the gap on the other side of the clearing. Pretty hole, and I try to slightly flex my Tern, so the fade doesn't go woods left on me.

If you can drill your tee shot straight out the fairway and have your fairway or driver fade toward the green, you have a good chance for a deuce putt here. I've been pretty successful with my Tern, but haven't made the 25-50' putt, yet.

Turn right at the crossroads and you start getting into the Black course proper on hole 14. There's a sweeping fairway around left to right, but you're unlikely to go that way and wind up with a clean look at the mound-elevated basket. Risk cutting the corner with an understable mid or fairway (or even a roller), and you've got a chance (provided you can get past the guardian trees just before the mound). Me? I try to cut the corner with my Manala (Underworld), lay an upshot halfway up the mound, and tap in for a weirdly satisfying three.

Same hole as #16 Red. Get cleanly off the tee through the first gap with a flex (for me, my Stag) left of the middle trees or a fade (right, Teebird). Once past midway, this hole opens up for a lot of generous approach/ putt shots at the basket just in front of the huge left-leaning tree.

This hole (same as Red #15) is MUCH cleaner than the 2011 picture would suggest. It's now a mostly open, level, clean shot that plays as if maybe 275' I pull out my Teebird or maybe my Tern (depending if I feel fluid), and try to keep it to the right half of the fairway line so it can gently fade in toward the pin.

The new basket position here is much longer and further right toward the river. If you have a very well controlled forehand (rh), you could try the right side fairway with an S-shot. I don't. for me it's the left fairway with a firm anny fairway or driver that will get past the trees bearing hard right, then pan out and glide toward the green. I've got a Tern for this shot.

You have fairway options here, but since the right side is almost identical to the previous hole, if you executed that shot successfully, repeat!. Me: the Teebird again.

Remember here that you're throwing to the 'striped' basket slightly left and shorter, and not the solid yellow one you can see straight up the middle and maybe 80' further. Throw a disc that will conform to the right side fairway, pass the tree cluster, and fade well left to the green (for me, that's a Teebird).
