Pros:
I like this course very much I find it the right amount of challenging, and playable to keep me coming back. You will have to take what I say with a grain of salt because this is the course I learned to play on and the one that I most often play.
-Well laid out course
-Nice Tee Pads and Baskets
-The holes are short, but the trees give it some good challenge
-Well Maintained
Cons:
These cons are not meant to detract from the VA I'm very grateful that they built such a beautiful course, and that they do a good job of maintaining it.
-No signs at the T pads can make it difficult at first to make sure you are on the right course
-The course is pretty short, but it is helpful that you can see the pins from the T pads
-Right now it is only a 7 hole course two of the fairways are in the middle of a construction site.
Other Thoughts:
As it says on the course discretion page it is intended for play by veterans and staff but respectful players can play the course. Whenever I'm on the course I carry off any trash I find and try to leave it better than I find it (should do this at all courses).
