Pros:
The Vet is a city course put in by the mayor. It is maintained by AP@R which is located on park premises. It is well cut with many roughs left wild. It is a family park with ball fields, a skate park and a Beneful sponsored dog park that is the best in the area. Bathrooms were installed next to hole one. The park is disc friendly and even has discs in the skate center.
Cons:
The course has to co-exist with the walking trail, both of which run through the center of the park. This being the case, the city assisted with the setup of the holes making them safe for walkers. This limited the length of the course. Also, the city's purpose of the course is recreational and no tourneys have been held here.
Other Thoughts:
The course is a blast. It has some 300 plus holes with one pushing 400. The buskets are forgiving and the course gives up aces.The park is very active and everyone speaks to everybody.
