Great tee signs on each hole with diagram and multiple tees and basket positions, if applicable.
DISCatchers are easy to spot, but several are showing some age.

The holes stay away from the campus buildings for the most part, reducing the possibility of damage or lost discs.

The paver stone tees are nice, but they are too short. Normally you could start behind the pad and step onto it, the the 4X4s are mainly laid on the ground, so it's a tricky step up in your runup.
It looks like #7 had to be shortened from the original layout, probably a good idea due to the closeness to a building, but now it is a very short, flat hole.
The tee #8 backs up to that same building, not a big issue for the course, but could be an issue inside the building, that could have bad results for the course.
The walk from #3 to #4 is one of the longest between holes as mentioned before, so another Next Tee sign, or two, would be a good idea. I believe there is a sign after #8, but once you get on that path, its pretty intuitive where #9 is.

If you have to work in an office these days, this would be a good place to work. I believe just about every building in this facility has at least one hole within sight. So, even if you have just a few minutes at lunch time to get outside, it would be great for putting practice.
As I mentioned in the Pros, for the most part, the holes are laid out away from the buildings and roads, yet many have very good design.
#1 starts beyond the end of a parking lot, which is a good idea, since most office workers would never use those spots anyway. Elevated tee with the basket around the corner of the pond, with some willow trees as guardians. Plenty of room to play safe to the left.
#2 plays along the same pond, about 300', with a hillside left to right, leading down to the pond, you want to open up on this one, but don't stray too far.
#3 is probably the best hole, around 300' from the short and long tee, you have to hit a gap of 20' or so off the tee, then the basket is guarded the rest of the way by large trees with low hanging branches.
#6 is the most wooded hole to test your accuracy, just 230', but many large trees guarding this ground level basket.
If I worked here, or nearby, I would play this course often. Other parts of Hokie Town? I would probably play one of the other Niners. But, I would prefer to play here over the nearby 18 hole courses.

This is a good little practice course. It's expertly manicured by Va. Tech grounds and maintenance crew with multiple tee pads. Good use of elevation changes with number 1 being the signature hole over the pond. The engineering department one would believe designed the course and there is great signage for each of the holes.

Small and not super challenging. It's not too pleasing aesthetically as you throw mostly around buildings, roads and parking lots. It's kinda spread out going from some of the holes, so it'll take some figuring out for first-timers.

This course is ideal for throwing mid-ranges and putter tee shots and can be challenging in windy conditions as there are a number of open holes. Big arms should look elsewhere for distance throws. If you have an hour though, you could probably get in a full 18 holes by playing multiple tees.
