Pros:
This is a brand new course in a interesting location. Flow and signage are good. New Mach 2 baskets.
While I found this enjoyable to play for a quick 9 hole round, I'm glad this is not my homecourse.
Cons:
- wicked tight fairways, like 10 foot wide when you are throwing through the plantation pine.
- we had nice weather, but I can imagine this almost being unplayable with much rain. As it is the 5 fairway was sketchy to get through. We skipped throwing off the tee, went across to where it was dry and played from there.
- Basket placement was a bit petty at times. You pure it through the narrow fairway to find you have an awkward shot for your approach.
- The rough is brutal.
Other Thoughts:
I like almost everywhere I play, but a couple times in the rough and mud, it starts to lose its fun. From a practice standpoint, it was challenging to settle and disc down and just keep on the fairway. New players are bound to be frustrated. I hate giving such a low score, but in the end good signage and baskets are not enough.
