Nice course but still has room to improve 2+ years

Pros:

The park was clean, well maintained and had some nice scenic views. This is a bonus for any disc golf course in my opinion. There was a fair mix of different lengths of holes and I really enjoyed the way they incorporated the water elements into the course layouts. I feel like the water is just enough in play to give a longer thrower something to think about (or punish an over ambitious throw), but far enough away from the baskets to reduce the risk of losing a disk. In our group we had both beginners and experienced players. The only throws that found the water came from the more experienced players, all of which were able to be recovered easily.

Cons:

The course flow is not the smoothest but I have played courses with worse. Holes 3 and 4 throw the same direction so you have to walk half way back down the fairway of 3 to get to the tee of 4. I am glad that I made a mental before we started so I could be on the lookout for hole 4's tee while we were throwing 3. Also the gap through the trees off of hole 4's tee is pointed directly at the 6A basket location which caused a little confusion for our group since it was our first time playing the course.

Other Thoughts:

Adding some tee signs with basic graphics and distance would bump this course up a notch. I did like that there were two course maps that were located in different parts of the course. This helped with navigating the course in spite of the lack of tee signs. One map was located next to the parking lot near hole 8. And the other was located along the walking path in the vicinity of hole 4's basket and hole 6's tee pad. It was nice to get a refresher of the course layout mid-way through.
Overall, with the mix of lengths in the holes, the natural obstacles and cleanliness of the park I feel like players of all skill levels can enjoy this course.
