Pros:
* Single-use property (no hoards of walkers/dogs)
* Nice mix of holes; more visual and playing variety than a lot of woods course
* Fair lines; no plinko/spray & pray holes
* Quiet, peaceful
* Pretty course; attractive woods, with patches of fields; stone walls; nice wooden walkways and bridges over (seasonal/post rain) swampy areas and streams.
* Good signage (both in-basket arrows and directional signs)
* 3 sets of tees (blue - 920 rated par; white - 825-rated par; red - say, 700-rated par)
* Free
* Well-maintained; no trash
Cons:
* Natural dirt tees (can be a bit slippery just after a rain)
* No wide-open bomber holes
* Poison ivy, prickers in rough, ground bees/yellow jackets
* Some areas can be marshy in wet season or just after a rain
* No benches
Other Thoughts:
* Course has been hugely improved over the past 2-3 years; reviews before 2023 are very out of date. Number and design of holes and tees, drainage, rough, maintenance have all significantly improved.
