Pros:
Wedges Creek DGC is a heavily wooded nine hole course out in the country outside of Greenwood proper. You'll end up taking a few dirt roads to get out here, and it'll be a very serene and quiet round most of the time. This course is still in it's very early stages at this point, so take this review with that caveat. I'll update it accordingly as it progresses.
There's 9 yellow banded Discatchers out here. All are in good shape and catch fine. Hole 3's is mounted on top of a stump to add some challenge to an otherwise pretty easy hole. The yellow bands definitely help with spotting the baskets in the thick woods. One basket and placement per hole currently.
Concrete tees on 8 of the 9 holes as of this writing. These were recently poured and are all nice. Sufficiently sized and grippy. No complaints with these. One pad per hole.
The flow of the course is pretty straightforward. Hole one starts behind the house and it plays counter clockwise from there. There's a little bit of a walk from holes 3 to 4 and 6 to 7, though nothing drastic.
This is a tight wooded course which are favorite type so I may be biased. That said I loved the different shot shapes required out here. There's a good mix of different hole shapes. Hitting lines is the primary thing out here. The holes aren't real long but they are specific. Getting off the fairway trying to throw hero shots can, and probably will, cost you.

Cons:
As I said above, the course is still very raw so take these cons with a grain of salt. I'll update these as things get worked in.
The main thing is that some of the lines are TOO tight currently. The removal of a tree or two on some of these holes will do wonders. Holes 7 and 8 in particular. They're not impossible, well 7 is borderline, but they're a little to undefined currently as far as an actual line.
The ground can get swampy in certain spots and retain water currently. To be fair we just had a pretty major snow melt the week prior to playing to playing here. That said, there's some low lying spots that'll take awhile to dry out after rains in the warmer months due to lack of sunlight in the woods. Waterproof shoes are recommended for this course.

Other Thoughts:
I know that seemed like a lot of cons but I had a blast out here and will be back again in the future. This is a great addition to an area that didn't have too much for options until recently. I'll be coupling this one with Five Season's, which is about 10 minutes away, quite a bit going forward. I'm looking forward to seeing the completed version of this one. Great start so far though.
