Fun course, worth the time and money to play. 2+ years drive by

Pros:

Fun par 3 course along and between ski runs. Most holes are fairly wide open fairways with a straight shot to the hole. Holes very well marked with new looking sign boards. Tees also well marked. You take a chair lift up to play holes 1 and 9, then play down the mountain. Disc rentals include a disc golf bag, course map/scorecard, and pencil. There are no penalties for lost rental discs. Map is accurate; there are no problems finding the next hole to play.

Cons:

The rough is very unforgiving, with steep drop offs into small creeks and/or woods. Difficult to find errant discs. Fairways had short grass, but also obstacles like mounds of dirt/rocks, and tire tracks from ATV/maintenance trucks. Some holes were very narrow, which requires accuracy to not lose your disc. Throwing up the mountain on some holes, then walking up, can be exausting compared to playing on flat surfaces. Some fairways were swampy the day after rain. The tee area is, like the fairways, not flat, nor marked out with a pad/rubber, just two coloured sticks (sort of like real golf tee areas).

Other Thoughts:

This course was well worth playing. The fees to pay ($10/$15 with rentals) were very reasonable for this type of course. The hole and tee markers looked new; clearly some thought and effort has been made to make the course very playable. I would recommend this course to anyone passing through the area.
