Pros:
I really enjoyed a beautiful morning playing golf. The scenery is pretty and seeing the sun come up in the morning over the desert was wonderful.
The course is pretty wide open with some use of the vegetation on the perimeter to make you shape some shots. There is a nice use of the elevation, one pond, and the cart paths. A lot of the shots were straight up the middle then to one side or the other.
The holes play to the black rimmed baskets for the long and a few dark red are in place for shorter holes on the long fairways.
The course is very long so being able to use a golf cart was nice. The fee to walk it is only $5 and to use a cart is $15.
Cons:
The current course map that is handed out at the clubhouse is from the 2019 Las Vegas Challenge and very out of date. What is on Udisc is fairly accurate. However, there are no next tee signs and it is not always intuitive.
Playing here you need to get moving as this is a ball golf course and if you play a bit slow or are new to the course the ball golfers will catch up with you. They do and should have priority so you will spend time waiting on them to play through.
There are several tees that are covered in pine needles and sand. Some appear to not have been used for a long time also making it confusing when navigating the course.
Other Thoughts:
Bring something to drink and to munch on as you will be out there awhile even when using a cart.
The people who work there were very cordial and more than willing to help. Albeit they do not understand much about disc golf.
I did like playing here but find it is someplace I would have a great time playing league or hanging with my friends.
