Surprisingly nice for a middle school course. Two sets of grass tees (for some reason) and surprisingly nice tee signs. Easy navigation. A couple of trees to go around and other obstacles to shot shape around such as buildings, fences, and even a propane tank! Some nice distance changes mix it up a little and give kids and rec players a little challenge. Large course map, although snapping a pic is completely unnecessary, unless you want a souvenir photo. The course doesn't seem like it sees a whole lot of play (besides the children I'm guessing). We played on a nice Saturday morning and literally had the whole course to ourselves (except for a cat that came out from behind the chicken coop to visit and see what we were up to). We parked right next to hole 1. Open to the public when school not in session.

Well, the course plays out ten baskets and then back in with the same baskets. The baskets are clearly numbered though with the proper number facing the right way. There are some tall fences on the sides of some fairways with locked gates. The course is flat as a board and offers little diversity except for the manmade kind. Smashing a window on one of the school buildings is a real possibility here. Or landing on a roof.

I and my crew had a fun round here despite the limitations. I can't really imagine a scenario where I would play this course again though unless I lived nearby (I don't). But it is worthy of bagging IMO.

(1.120 Rating) An adequate course for those with 0-2 years experience looking to learn and improve their game.
- BEGINNER FRIENDLY - This course is perfect for nearer players. Wide, wide, wide open fairways. In addition, the hole distances from the shorter stakes allow even first timers a few chances at birdie. No water in play, just about no overgrowth, and not an all day excursion.
- NAVIGATION - I had no issues with no map, solo and first time thru. The layout is pretty intuitive after a couple of holes, cause you'll realize to look for either white or red posts. In addition, the posts are clear and can be read from over 50 feet away. The course double backs on itself after finishing 10, thus the remaining 8 holes are even easier to navigate.
- QUICK PLAY - I blew thru my round here in 35 minutes. figure a group of 4 could conquer a round in less than 90 minutes.
- ACEABILITY - Just about all of these baskets will be aceable to an advanced player. 10 shots are under 270 feet and the lines are mostly unguarded.
- NIGHT GOLF - This is an ideal night golf course for Middleburg residents. Spacious fairways, only moderate overgrowth in one spot, no water hazards in play
- GROW THE SPORT - No doubt will this course aid in growing the sport by offering students easy access to learn the game at a beginner friendly course, on school grounds.
- CHAINS - The baskets are in great shape. Unfortunately a typical comment when you run out of good things to say about a course.

To the seasoned player, this course has lots of issues
- LAYOUT FLOW - About as bad as you'll ever see. After finishing hole (10) I realized that my next tee shot on (11) played back to basket (9). Not a big issue to me on an early Saturday morning as I was the only one throwing. However, if two groups were ever on this course, there'd be a point where the two groups would converge causing round flow issues.
- BASKET/TEE SEPERATION - There are many instances where the tee and basket are separated by less than 20 feet.
- ROOFS - A school building comes into play several times. Most notably on hole (13). Putting your disc on a roof here is a sure way to never see it again.
- UNIQUENESS - One of the lowest 18 hole courses I've ever scored in terms of variety. It's almost entirely open. Hole (3) plays around a building. (4) and (16) play around what looks to be a propane gas tank!?! There's a tree in play on (8) and (13), and hole (14) plays over a restroom building. In addition, this course is as flat as an ice rink.
- CHARACTER - Well below average. There is no tee shading or wind shielding, no seating, no map, no community board and no practice basket. There is however nice tee posts that offer a very visible tee number and accurate hole distance.
- TEES AREA - The tees are grass and void of any permanent line markings for a tee edge. However, it is possible that they spray paint a line during part of the year, just nothing was observed by me so I teed next to the post.
- TOO EASY - Too short and not a challenge to intermediate level players and above. Rec players should have a good look to shoot under course par.
- RAW BEAUTY - I really can't find much good to say about it. Just about no trees, buildings in view and in play, athletic chain link fences in play, sandy and patchy grass.
- OPEN HOURS - Due to the location of being on school grounds, the course is unplayable for non-students during school hours.
- WIND - Due to the lack of trees, wind will likely be an issue.

Unless you're from the west part of Middleburg, I would not recommend checking this course out. It's a usable course for those on the west side of town, as it has some of the basic elements of the game. Course reviewers and baggers should check it out. Reviewers for the knowledge broadening, and baggers for the just why the heck not.

School course that uses ten baskets to create eighteen holes. The course isn't linear but it plays from one basket to the next, with each tee being relatively close to the previous basket, up to 10. The eleventh tee is near the tenth basket but the target is the same as 9. The payer continues back to the start in like fashion, approaching each basket from the opposite side that he did the first time.
It's actually pretty well set up for the kids. The throws are easy. The obstacles are few. The issues that plague the course are mitigated by the fact that they are playing in an official setting. Any discs that they are using are school property and thus can be officially reclaimed should they land anywhere fenced off.
There are even two sets of tees. The whites generally give some extra length to the holes. Where the tees are near each other, the red par is a stroke higher. The tee surfaces are natural but like everything else here, perfectly flat. Should be a good experience for them. Hopefully a few of them stick with the game.

There is no reason for a wandering player to stop here. It's a short pitch and putt that is dotted with obstacles that you will hopefully feel uncomfortable throwing out. Outbuildings are in the middle of some fairways. There is water and heating equipment in small fenced enclosures that even a well-placed throw has a chance of landing in. Errant throws at any point could hit buildings or cross fences onto athletic fields. There is one basket that is set between a tank of some sort and a building that looked rather fragile. Needless to say, I skipped many holes here.
If you are in the area and want a practice area, any soccer field will do better.

My 2 sons and I were the only ones on the course. The course is laid out on the school campus.

The course is set up adjacent to a lot of their athletic fields which are chain link fenced. Bring someone who can climb a fence should you get off of some of the fairways. Some of the holes have sidewalks and asphalt and can be a little hard on the discs. Can only be played when school is not session.
