Not worth it 2+ years

Pros:

- Hole 1 - Simple hyzer but the thick rough is right next to the green so if you are even a little off you will be punished.

- Hole 2 - Pretty much a forced thumber

- Hole 3 - No clue where the teepad starts so that was fun but then they parked a trailer on top of it, it seemed so I was even more confused.

- Hole 4 - super short with maybe a few feet of tunnel to hit with jail everywhere. My only bogey which shouldnt really ever happen on a sub 200' hole. Needs a fairer fairway.

- Holes 5-10 were decent

- Holes 11-12 I think. The baskets are right next to the cliff edge and you cant tell from the tee so if you go long you are probably going to be searching down a mountain

- Holes 13-15 were decent

- Hole 16 - The only hole where I needed a driver. 460 and slightly downhill. Threw a perfect shot and landed 10' long of the basket in the unplayable rough so that was such a let down.

- Holes 17-18 - Decent

Cons:

- Natural and carpet tees. There is a mix of natural and carpet tees that leave a lot to be desired. The carpet for this course is beneficial because you can tell nobody plays this course. Where there is no carpet you are just guessing at where the teebox is.

- No Teesigns. All holes have a post in the ground with the hole number on it but that is it. No other info. A lot of times you dont know what basket is the correct basket to throw to and you have to go find it and see the number plate to make sure.

- No Course Map.

- IF YOU ARE PLAYING THIS COURSE FOR THE FIRST TIME MAKE SURE YOU HAVE UDISC WITH THE MAP FUNCTION TURNED ON. IT WILL BE YOUR ONLY SOURCE OF DIRECTION

- Navigation was tough for the first few hole but after that its pretty simple. Next hole markers would help a lot.

- The rough is rough. Its thick and full of thorns. Some of the rough is just a few feet from the basket. There were 2 holes in particular where my drive was 10' from the basket and I pretty much had an unplayable line. That was pretty frustrating.

- Mach 3's are just sad but it seems fitting since you can tell this course doesnt get enough traffic to warrant anything better.

- Not too much shot variety. I only needed one driver for the whole course. With that being said its 100% not beginner friendly.

- Needs fairer fairways. There were too many holes where it didnt matter what shot you threw because it was all up to luck.

Other Thoughts:

Overall I would say to stay away from this course. It is 100% not worth it and needs some upkeep or a redesign to change my mind. Needs teesigns badly. I can live without teepads but at least mark you pads somehow.

I only played this course because I was staying at the resort which is on the same property. That would be the only time where I would say it would be acceptable to play. Honestly it seems like they were just looking for more activities to add to their resort so they could add it to their website and promos and make their resort seem even better. This is a highly neglected course and piece of their property and it shows.

Mehh 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 14, 2018 Played the course:once

Pros:

-Unique holes that take advantage of the land.
-Good variety of easier and challenging holes.

Cons:

-No tee maps. Spent forever just walking around on a lot of holes trying to figure out where the basket was.
-Thick, High, Dry grass, makes it hard to walk, and find discs.
-Hard to navigate to next hole on many holes.

Other Thoughts:

This course has potential to be really cool. But it needs some some maintenance badly, and really needs tee maps, tee pads, and ways to make it easier to navigate to the next hole. Hope they fix this course up soon.

Not quite there yet 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:May 12, 2014 Played the course:once

Pros:

- Beautiful landscape
- Good variation of holes

Cons:

- Long drive to get up there with little signage for the disc golf course
- Very tall grass
- Tee pads were non-existent and sometimes difficult to find
- Basket placement was pretty terrible on the back 9-12.
- Easy to lose a disc with awkward use of hills and poor landscaping.

Other Thoughts:

This course definitely has some potential. The land is beautiful and there is some good elevation change. I enjoyed the front 9 but I wish I had skipped the back 12. There were some awkward tee shots and the poor landscaping on the course left me disappointed. I came away with some scratched up legs and burrs all over my socks.
