Round notes:My wife and I came to add 4 courses to our list of played courses from the Sullivan, Neoga, Mattoon, and Charleston area. This is round 1 of 4 for the day. If it weren't for the pics on this website we wouldn't have known where to start for each hole as there were no obvious tees anywhere. Took just a putter, a TI Buzz, and a Rogue for the long hole. Played an okay round overall and missed some putts, but they were homemade baskets, so can't really tell if it was me or the basket... although hole 3's basket seemed to work pretty well...

Short on the drive, but we weren't warmed up yet. Still a deuce chance, but I didn't make it high enough (these are some tall baskets!).
2 197 3 3 1 --
Had a great line to the basket, but it was too wide and a tree limb stopped it and dropped it. Approach was right over the top of the basket (so really high).
3 228 3 1 0 --
TI Buzz controlled hyzer that I thought I threw too far, but it hyzered in on the line I wanted and ... splashed the chains! I really thought it was long, but apparently it was perfect. Ace # 6 for me!
4 212 3 4 2 --
This was the only hole that we couldn't quite find the tee from the pic. Drive sucked, approach hit a tree, and the long putt for par barely missed low. So I took a bogie after my ace...figures.
5 279 3 3 2 --
Great drive that was pin high but left about 20 feet. Putt was just too low (but probably perfect height on a regular sized basket).
6 230 3 3 2 --
Drive was short and had a 30 footer that once again was just too low on these tall baskets, but pretty centered, so putting was feeling pretty good.
7 390 3 3 1 --
There was just no line for a drive here other than poke and hope. So I threw a 300 ft roller straight through the trees. Long approach just missed it to the left of the chains and I nailed the comeback putt.
8 144 3 3 2 --
Couldn't quite get the angle around the obstacles, and the putt wasn't centered but actually the correct height.
9 213 3 2 1 --
This one looked further than 213 ft. so I took a control shot with the Rogue and parked it there for an easy putt for deuce.
