Pros:

This course has very nice tee pads and brand new Discatcher baskets. The signage was adequate as well.
Maintenance was good and the course flows logically.
This is a very beginner friendly course and disc loss should be nil here.
Some holes have ACE RUN potential and rounds should play quickly here.
There were other amenities in the park such as basketball courts, a playground, softball fields, etc.
The course has a good mix of short, moderate, and longer holes. You can air out a few drives on holes like 3 and 8 for example.
Hole observations:
1-short with the basket out in the open
2-moderate length with a softball field to the left of the fairway
3-longest hole on the course with plenty of room to work it from Right to Left
4-shorter hole that doglegs slightly to the right and the basket is up on a berm
5-moderate length and plays North to South
6-moderate length, straight shot
7-moderate length and has trees to shape some lines, this is the best hole on the course IMO
8-longer hole that plays North to South
9-moderate length with the basket out in the open

Cons:

This is a very open course with not many lines to be shaped. There is the possibility for someone throwing on hole 9 to plunk someone teeing off on hole 1 so pay attention.
No trash cans or benches. Having that option is always nice and helps to deter the litterbugs(in theory).
Wind will be factor here and there isn't much shade so it can get hot here in the summertime.
Hole 1 would be unplayable if there were soccer games going on in the park.
Areas around some tees can get spongy as can the draw between 6's basket and 7's tee.
No elevation.

Other Thoughts:

This is a good introductory level course and its nice to see the city of Tulsa expanding disc golf for the community. This course along with Maxwell park would be good places to warmup before hitting some of Tulsa's more challenging courses like Blackhawk, Redhawk, Chandler Park, Hunter Park, etc.
When you look at this course from a beginner's perspective it is a good course that will challenge but not frustrate. Its not a destination course by any means but its another option for the Tulsa area.
If they were to plant some trees on the open holes and provide some lines to be shaped that would help tremendously. Nevertheless the designer(s) used what was available to the best they could.
If you are expecting a heavily wooded course then move on down the road. If you like a more open park style 9 holer then this course will hit the mark.
