I had to work late, but DGC had two white 170's left when I got home. Can't wait to try these puppies out! :thmbup:
Got my 176g Stormtrooper on the way from my boys at InfiniteDiscs! Super psyched that they picked me for their tester team...its been a LONG time since I threw an understable mid-range so I'm looming forward to carving lines with it. The Axis really helped me clean up my form, because I had so much OAT I was turning into a dirt dart everutime. Now that Ive cleaned up quite a bit, I think the Tangent will work wonders for me. Especially forthose short, low, touch shots.
Yeah I just broke down and ordered two as well from them. I was trying to resist... Ha, it's Discspeeds fault, again. I could do with an Axis like disc that I can power down a little more predictably for those short Ace runs, I had no luck trying to use a 170 Axis for that slot.
I bet that the Tangent will kick ass on Pender! Last time I was there I threw my Anode and Vector on most holes, the durability of these discs really stood out.

I finally got to throw the Tangent at Disc Nation. It does many things well. The first part of the flight reminds me of a domey esp comet and the end of the flight reminds me of a slightly broken in roc. This disc really shows how well the MVP technology works. I could even flick it on a high pull over annie and get is to pan out and still fade a tiny bit at the end. People that lose a year old Tangent will probably cry.

Yeah buddy end of May tourneys comin, play Friday/Saturday and Sunday is the doubles Margarita Open 4th? year on my course. The durability is really important here, DX gets thrashed. I want a couple Tangents for a couple months to see if they'll fit in the bag.

Threw my new tangent today and yesterday. This disc is great. It takes clean power very well with a gentle turn, and powered down you can easily shape hyzer or anhyzer 100-150 foot approach lines with ease. I have not thrown a disc that is as easy to throw a smooth anhyzer 50-150 feet, and you can power it up out to 300 as well. This disc really reacts and holds on to whatever I put on it. This disc is one of a kind in the way it flies, and first thoughts are that it is a great line shaping disc for everything from 50-250 ft . Maybe out to 300-350 for bigger arms, but I have been having trouble really cranking my mids lately. I think its grip issues because I adjusted it a little today and got a beautiful 275-280 foot drive with the tangent that with a little hyzer flipped up with a very slight turn and then a tiny fade. Going almost completely straight for the whole flight. Pretty mezmerizing

i was thinking the exact same thing! i play that course a ton so im excited to try it out because of the durability and controlled line shaping.

I'm getting more and more excited about seeing what the Tangent can do. I'm really interested to see how it will work powered down for me. Since I only carry 5-6 discs, having discs serve multiple roles is great. I'd love it if the Tangent could kick my driving putter out of the bag.
