Oldest Driver in Da Bag?

The oldest Driver in my bag is how old

I own a first run Eagle from 1983, but it has never been in my bag and I have never thrown it. As far as what I actually carry... I have a CE Teebird from circa 2001.

almost forgot... I did recently happen upon a Tourney Pro Comet that, based on helpful info from Three Putt, was probably made around 1996.

Not a driver but old nonetheless

Here's an old putter that I've had for a very long time. I don't carry this around with me. I just thought I would throw some pictures up of it for all of those old school golfers out there. A little nostalgia. I've had it since 93 but I'm sure it's older than that. I'm guessing 89-90 time frame.

I keep a beat eclipse in my bag that I have been using for at least 10 years. I posted this photo before, but here it is again in all its splendor (on top of a new eclipse)...

I love the drive/putt flight paths on there, along with the player name line. Looks like a cool old disc, thanks for sharing!

My old Scorpion bears some scars like that. I'm curious, how does it fly in comparison to the new Eclipse?

I recently re-vamped my bag, so that, coupled with me only starting to play seriously a little over a year ago, leaves the oldest ones I still have about a year old (or maybe a little more).

Totally different. The "tortured" eclipse (that was for you Solomon) flies straight as an arrow while the new one goes where it wants, not where I want. I use the old one for long putts mostly -- hence the scars.

I've only been playing like 3 months, but I find wayyy more discs than I lose. I've found 6 discs already and lost 3, 1 of which was a disc I had found only minutes earlier. Another of those 3 the person called me to return it. The last one it was getting dark and I hadn't written my info on it yet...bummer. Of the 6 I found only one so far is definitely returnable and we just haven't been able to get together to give it back to the guy. But in any event I'm at least UP by 2 discs.

Its sure nice to be on the plus side of it. Its funny but when I first started playing I found quite a few, but I haven't found more than a handful in the last couple years. I've lost too many, it makes me sad that only one has been returned even though all had contact info clearly on them ... I even suspect that at least one was stolen.

I have been forgeting to take pictures of these old ones I have. but today I brought my bag to work since we are playing right after.

Maybe someone can tell the age by the pics ?

First is an old Moray in great shape weight is 180

I've got a Star Valkyrie in my bag that I've had for about 2 years, so I rounded up to 3. It's easily my oldest driver.

It's a hard question for me since I destroyed my shoulder. There actually have not been any drivers in my bag for about the last three months while I've been trying to learn to throw Aviars left handed.

Before that I was trying to settle between Cyclones and XL's as my control driver. My XL's are all early run Elite Pros, so they are probably all 10-11 years old. Some of the Cyclones are Tournament Pro and are older, but being conservative I'd say maybe 13 or 14 years old. So either/or would be the oldest depending on which actually ended up in the bag. Judging from how my right shoulder feels and how well I'm picking up throwing left handed, it might be a while before either are actually in the bag.

rough. hope your body starts feeling better soon.
