It all depends on the person and if the company has all the discs in their line up that the player wants. Really the biggest thing is if they have a putter you like and your approach discs. It took me most of the year to find everything I wanted

Yeah I was always surprised people like Nikko were avoided when companies went to sponsor players, yet Patrick Brown got to stay on Innova for so long....

PB seems pretty tight with JohnE. My guess is that he ends up with lat64.
Can you elaborate on his "personality"? Is it that he acts too much like a tough guy?
He freaks out when things don't go his way. Apparently there was an incident with him at the USDGC this year. I don't know if the story is true or not so I won't repeat it.
I've met him in real life and he was very friendly and nice.

I think there was an incident where he stepped on a Discraft hat from a players pack in front of a volunteer. If true, that alone would be grounds for a sponser to drop him.

I also hear he spends a lot of time volunteering at Golden Gate Park. He probably is a good guy but those moments whete he made bad decisions are the ones that scare sponsors.
