You guys all make valid points. My arm would probably have given out by the 9th whole, but the lack of tree obstacles might factor into longer throws... so, the give and take would even out a little.
I'd also imagine that I'd probably play the course par and not the standard DG...
Here's a random question... has anyone ever attempted to walk onto a local ball golf course, pay to play a round and instead play it using your discs?
I was thinking about it this weekend. I forgot to bring my clubs home, but I had my discs. My father and brother wanted to go golfing... so I...

Well manicured community park off the beaten path. Porta-Johns located around park, did not notice on-site fountains though. All 9 holes are marked with signage showing distance and path. Each basket has a number indicated on inner post. While short, the course does offer both...
So, I was driving down Route 15 near Mechanicsburg, PA, when I passed a retirement home with a large pond near the road. A regular occurence for me, since I take that route about once a week. But, this last time I noticed something near the pond I hadn't noticed before... a bright yellow disc...
Some of the best tasting beers I've ever had, have been on a DG course. Especially when each member of the group brings a mixed sixer.
We carry in, we carry out, plus some. I can't vouch for the rest of the DGers out there, but if you set an example, someone will follow it.
I wish there...
Here's another hole on Sedgley Woods: Google Maps Streetview and if you continue East down the road, you'll see the 1st hole and a full parking lot. Must have been a tourney.
This is kinda silly, I was playing around with Google Maps Streetview feature around Sedgley Woods (Fairmount Park) and stumbled across this little dozy.
Google Maps Streetview
Anyway, maybe this is a stretch, but it be interesting to see what else Streetview might have caught around other...
Went back last Saturday. The course has really come around in the last 2 months. It's still a monster of a course, but the fairways were cleared out and the pins were marked well. I meet one of the course designers, who was out setting up for a tournament they had on Sunday. Seemed like a nice...
I wonder which course they played, there are 2 listed under Snowmass, CO and they're both 18 holes.

Well, it was pretty miserable for me as well. I think they're still fleshing the course out. A lot of the fairways were "rough" and LONG, you really need a strong arm for this course. I might go back in the fall when the foliage is less overbearing and the temperatures are cooler. I'm definitely...

Organized Chaos
Marked holes have wooden arrows pointing towards baskets (if lucky) and estimated distance. Baskets appear to be Mach II with double chains, they sit low.
Dirt tee pads with a beveled wooden 4x6 to indicate edge facing basket. Baskets are hard to locate, so scouting ahead is...

Needs serious layout help
All the holes are marked with an illustrated map and estimated distance. Tee boxes are large red terracotta stone/gravel pads. Baskets are marked and have a large number indicator on the top. You'll definitely get your exercise on this course (not sure that's a pro.)...
