Hey I was wondering if college of the red woods has all 18 baskets in for play? Heading to Eureka tomorrow and plan on playing there and the curtain. Any where else I should consider? Thanks!

I was thinking about heading to Arcata this weekend and playing the UC's course. The last time I was there (which was like 5-6yrs ago) they had a sign saying that some of the holes were taken out. Is it still like that or are they all up. Just Curious. Thanks.

i just recounted my list and it was 42 different DGC played on this trip not 52( thank God for the usage of calculators). 41 new ones (Delavaga being the only DGC I played before). Couldn't post my ace on hole # 14 at the Area 74 because it was a private DGC. No biggy. You saw it and I know I did it. Personally I think i would of killed that DGC if they had baskets because I was pretty close the whole round. But I enjoyed my shining moments there even on a rainy day. Thanks again for all your help. And thank Doug again if you would please for allowing us to throw plastic on that great piece of land.

I really appreciate your offer to be my guide and become an addition to my story telling of my trips (who knows maybe someday my life will be a TV series). As I'm looking right now at my tenitive schedule it looks like the first week of October(3rd or 4th) that I plan to be in your area. I love private DGC, especially with a guide/ friend. Will letcha know for sure one way or the other.

planning a NORCAL trip in late Sept/oct. I want to play the RW Curtain again, but don't know if I'll be that far west, but if I do I'd love to have a guide if possible. will letcha know as the time gets near.

fyi the tarwater course has been to the temp list and we will be having another event there this year.

Any good advice on secret tone pole placement in large local parks? Have any been removed by P&R or such? I'm looking to plant a bunch in SW MI.
