Round notes:Got up early with dad to play in town before spending the day at the music festival. Had a decent but frustrating round and felt I should have thrown better on an easier course that then ones played yesterday. Had some great tee shots but the consistency wasn't there. Approaches and putts severely lacked as well. Score faded badly on the back nine.

Round notes:Second round of the day at another amazing Northern Colorado course. Round started off great with a handful of solid pars but then the holes got crazier as we progressed. Wind was also a factor off the tee and seemed to be in our face on every drive. Scoring poorly on this course was more frustrating than Beaver Meadows because I know I can do better so I can't wait to get back and tackle it again.

Round notes:Made the trip up from Fort Collins with my dad and mom for a day full of high altitude disc golf. Looked ugly on the way up to Red Feather with lots of clouds and patches of heavy rain. Thankfully things cleared up right when we got to Beaver Meadows (even though it was cold as hell at the start). Had a good talk with the guys who ran the place before we did a little warmup and then hit the course. Made it over the water on the first hole (barely after slipping and turning my Valk over badly). Unfortunately dad did not, but luckily the Dragon he bought at Wright Life the night before did its job. The rest of the course was intense and extremely difficult. I had a few solid drives off the tee and parked some tough approach shots including some experimental overhands with a 150 class Leopard. Ended up meeting with some guys from Fort after hole 10 to finish out our round. A small cell rumbled through on 11 but the sun was back out by the time we hit the fairway at 12.

Round notes:Played my first doubles round...but solo. We had an odd number (13) and I ended up with the partnerless round, meaning that I had to play "Colorado" rules. I got to choose one tee or approach shot per hole to take 2 from and always got 2 putts from within 30. It was an interesting way to play and definitely allowed for a better overall score. I ended up even, which was cool, but far off the pace of the winners (something like 8 under). I'll have to go back again and hopefully experience doubles the real way next time. I did have a lot of good drives today, especially with the Wraiths on uphill shots. Parked it on 8 with the Starfire but missed the bird putts. Putting took the day off all day too. Had a couple good ones but more awful ones.

Round notes:Had a great day today even though there were a couple of rough holes. Drives felt amazing with the Wraiths all day. Putting struggled for the most part but I sank 2 long ones on 17 and 18 which kind of made up for it. Had a bird opportunity on three from 10 feet away and hit the chastity belt. Went OB on 13 with a shoddy forehand which was dumb. Also thought the arrow on 6 was a mando so I had to throw around it on my 3rd shot which cost me 2 strokes after a bad putt. Made it over the water on 12 and 17 though, which was cool. Took Joanna out for her first ever round. She struggled a bit and couldn't throw far but it seemed like she had a good time.

Round notes:Wind picked up for our 2nd time through which really affected us on the open holes. Knowing the course really helped knock some strokes off on this round though. We all played a bit better knowing what to expect. Tested out some discs I don't normally use and really started liking the Wraith. Heres to hoping I can continue to throw it well in Colorado.

Round notes:Met up with Ben after Elver and we talked Tyson into coming along to Token Creek. Met my dad there as well to complete the foursome. Weather was still great, a bit hot but can't complain. This course was very nice and well taken care of. Its true that some holes lacked imagination but the great maintenance made up for that. Plus it was completely empty for this round so were never waiting or letting groups play through. It was like the course belonged to us. Shot alright this round, again not many ugly shots and good putting.

Round notes:Headed into town early with Mom so that I could take her car for the day. Decided to head to Elver to get a solo round in before I met up with Ben later on. Weather was perfect, only downside was all the dew still on the ground so I had to constantly wipe my discs down throughout the round. Shot well on most holes, let 2 get away from me again but other than that, nothing too terrible. Putting was good again too, accuracy is really coming along, especially close.

Round notes:Went with Dad to try out what we thought was an interesting course after we visited Grandma in Crystal Lake. Turned out to be a bummer with a ton of open holes and only a few interesting wooded holes on the back 9. The "longest hole in Illinois" was a useless gimmick and was a pointless way to end the round with a high score on a hole. Neither of us got into a rhythm today and struggled on an easy course. Don't know if its fatigue from a long week of throwing or lack of inspiration on a cruddy course. Either way, today was not a very fun day. Also lost my first Champ Beast in the swamp on hole 10 which is such a bummer. But I did find an unmarked Star Wraith later on so I guess it evens out a bit.

Round notes:2nd round of the day, dropped Ben and Rich and picked up Stoner and Gordon (Texconsinite). Also a lackluster rounds with a few ugly tee shots. Didn't really improve from my performance at Elver earlier. But again, not bad for a first time on a course. Not sure how I feel about it either. Its rated higher than Elver but I don't think it had as much variety. It was a good course, but not enough wooded, technical holes. I'll have to play it again to see how much I like it.
