The more I think about this the more it makes sense. They're trying the 'Trilogy' thing, diversifying their products into different brands. I think the Envy and Alias are, for all intents and purposes, the Ion and Axis respectively. MVP's just attempting to expand.

I mean. Honestly its probably just a way to sell more...the collector/obsessor/fanboy/completist wants it all...pretty colors and one of a kinds can help drive impulsive buys, which i'm sure none of us on this board have been guilty of...;)
