They just look and feel cheap, and from what I understand the blizzard rims are actually a manufacturing defect. I love a good star wraith or destroyer, but there are too many with blizzard rims floating around.
I agree, and I think it's right up there with the venerable Wraith in this regard. The Horizon + S-Line make a great combination, although I do keep a Cloudbreaker in the bag for really stiff headwinds and/or sidearms.
I'd love to see something really flippy added to the Evolution or Originals...
Mine is pretty true to the numbers. I can count on the turn and it always comes back in the end. It’s probably my most versatile driver, and it’s a really fun disc to throw.
The new PD is the only remake I don't really like, and it's for this reason. They fly nice, but I can't get over the sharp feeling rim. I saw yesterday a 9/10 speed Discmania disc called the Vanguard was approved by the PDGA, and I'm hoping that disc has a similar flight with a more comfortable...
I haven't thrown mine a ton, but it's the best feeling MD3 IMO. It's flat and the plastic is gummier than the other Discmania MD3s, it's basically the Mind Bender version of an MD3.
I sprung for a Metalflake MD3 with the Iron Samurai stamp. I imagine it will look cool, and I like the idea of a Metalflake MD3 to complement the Mind Bender.
